Good afternoon.  

I wanted you to be among the first to know that the Uptown Consortium Board of Trustees has selected Beth Robinson as our new President and CEO.  Many of you know Beth already, as she has been serving as the Interim President and CEO since November 1.  

We are thrilled that Beth has accepted our offer.  She has done a remarkable job over these last seven months, and we know she is going to help us do great things moving forward.  

In addition to passing her on-the-job audition with flying colors, Beth also has experience well suited to our needs.  She has spent more than 25 years in community and economic development.  She was director of real estate development at the University of Cincinnati when the consortium asked her to serve on an interim basis in November 2009.  She has also held business retention and economic development positions with the cities of Cincinnati, Covington, Bellevue (KY) and Springdale, as well as management experience in the private sector.  

Please join me in welcoming Beth as the new Uptown Consortium President and CEO.
