The Uptown Consortium's Neighborhood Services Plan will strengthen Uptown's diverse neighborhoods through meaningful collaborations to maintain Uptown as a safe, attractive and walkable community for residents through education, healthcare and employment initiatives.

Education
The overarching goal of the Consortium is to establish centers of educational excellence within Uptown. To achieve that goal, the Consortium will create a partnership with Cincinnati Public Schools; coordinate with the University of Cincinnati College of Education; and engage residents in community planning.

Healthcare
The Consortium aims to coordinate and leverage its resources to improve quality of care, wellness and access. Initiatives in healthcare are still in their formative stages, with the Consortium engaging its members in community health planning.

Economic Inclusion
The Consortium is coordinating and collaborating with community partners to increase resident and minority business access to employment and procurement at Consortium member institutions. Also engaged is a holistic partnership with the University of Cincinnati, Empowerment Corporation, Uptown business associations, Greater Cincinnati Urban League, Talbert House and community development corporations in Uptown.
